Ingredients

Directions

  1. Place the leftover macaroni and cheese in the freezer for about 20 minutes to firm up. This makes it easier to shape into balls.
  2. While the macaroni and cheese is chilling, prepare a breading station with three shallow bowls:
  3. Add the flour to the first bowl and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  4. Crack the egg into the second bowl and whisk lightly until smooth.
  5. Add the Simply Savory Buffalo Shake & Bake to the third bowl.
  6. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Drizzle the olive oil over the foil and spread it evenly to coat the surface.
  7. Remove the macaroni and cheese from the freezer. Scoop about 1 tablespoon of macaroni and cheese and roll it between your hands to form a tightly packed ball. Each ball should be about 1 to 1½ inches in diameter.
  8. Roll each ball in the flour, then dip it in the egg, and finally coat it with the Buffalo Shake & Bake. Place the coated balls on the prepared baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 10–12 minutes. Remove the baking sheet from the oven, gently flip the macaroni and cheese balls, and bake for an additional 10–12 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  10. Serve warm.
